Wonder Wednesday

Our finished "Winter Birch Scenes" fill me with wonder. There is so much creativity in this room. Below, I will post a photo that shows more of our finished creations.

Today we...

-peeled the tape off our work and added bark accents.

-listened to and discussed Cress and Watercress.

-participated in small group reading rotations.

-created beautiful, and lucky, art in Mandarin to bring us into the Lunar New Year.

-went to math and science with Ms. Hicks.

-enjoyed outdoor recess.

-continued our virtual field trip to learn more about the life, work and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Our Winter Reading Challenge Cocoa party is this Friday. 16 students participated in the challenge, turned in the "reading mug" and will enjoy some hot cocoa!
