-set expectations and used some memes to go over the "whys" behind our class rules
-read The First Day Jitters.
-got acquainted with the space and shared questions.
-learned a little bit more about each other
-created "First Day Emojis" and began our first writing assignment
-packed our Red Take Home folder with a lot of forms and a hard copy of the Welcome Letter emailed last Friday.

-introduce our first Read Aloud novel
