Timely Tuesday

Dr. King's words are still timely today. This morning we watched a Brainpop and discussed Dr. King's ideas. Cameron asked, "I wonder what Dr. King would say if he walked into Disney today?" This is a great question, and we will be exploring it all week.

• worked on a Minn of the Mississippi story map

• discussed this week's vocabulary words and came up with examples

• listened to two episodes of the podcast Six Minutes and found examples of suspense.

• used watercolor paints to create "Winter Birch Tree" art.

Tomorrow's Buddy session may be cancelled due to Kindergarten testing.

We will have our "extra recess" attendance incentive this week.

The Winter Cocoa Reading party will be this Friday.
