Timely Tuesday

Today, we took the CPS performance task in both reading and math. All of the reading passages were about Illinois and Renewable Resources. The task was extremely difficult! We will be working on citing text evidence, comparing texts, and to begin, writing summaries. Time to roll up our sleeves!

Today during Social Studies we will take some notes to help kids on their IL MAP project, which is a take home project. It is due on November 4th. Please check google classroom for details. All students were given a hard copy, which they need to do the work.

Gourds: many kids have found small pumpkins or gourds at Jewel.
