Thank you, Gabriel, for helping with today's alliteration. We are having a great morning. We have been reading, listening to the podcast 6 Minutes, and we even caroled through the hallways. Our best tunes are "Jingle Bells," "Feliz Navidad," and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."
Coalie got into some chocolate last night, and we will try to "jenga" for a treat, without disturbing Coalie, of course.
It will soon be time to say, "See you next year!" Thank you to all of the 201 and 202 families for holiday treats and surprises. As I told the kids, no gifts are necessary, and their presence is my present!
Don't forget that...
pick up today will be in the CAC, due to the impending snow storm.
there is no school tomorrow!
school resumes on January 9th.
the Winter Reading Challenge is the only assignment for the break. As you read, cut and past the marshmallows. Then, decorate the mug and cut it out. Can you read MORE? Of course you can! Fill that mug with marshmallows. We must have 100% participation in order to have our "Hot Cocoa Read-in" on the Friday after break. I will make hot cocoa for the class. Vegetarian and classic marshmallows will be offered.
Enjoy a safe and restful break Team 200! May your days be filled with light and warmth. I can't wait to see you in 2023!
