Thoughtful Thursday

We started our day thinking more about growth mindset, and ways to work through challenges. We learned that challenges help our brain grow stronger.

We also...

• finished our "First Day Emoji" writing. If your child did not finish, the work should be in the red "at home" folder and needs to be finished at home.

• learned about alliteration, and used a list of adjectives to come up with our own "name alliterations." Mine is Grateful, Glittering Ginn. Ask your child about theirs.

• learned about our first Art-Integrated Project. We will use our name alliterations to create Wise Owl Collages tomorrow.

• enjoyed gym with Mr. Amasa

• went outside for recess

• went to Science and Math with Ms. Hicks

Tomorrow:

• The Me in a Bag Project is due. We will share our bags throughout the day. Each student will have the spotlight for two minutes! As you know, the project is linked in the "homework doc."

• Check your email for the Friday Newsletter which will contain information about curriculum
