Making the Most of Monday

We are masked and ready to go! Today we....

• listened to our new text, Rare Treasures and learned about Mary Anning's unique pursuit of fossils. You can learn more about her here: https://youtu.be/SHLIpl6y4MQ

• met with Mrs. Ginn in a small group to discuss the genre, biography, and learn about our vocabulary words. The words can be found in My View, within the story and on page 54.

• spent time finishing our Space Stories, and adding some decorations to our work.

• began a "Map Quest" in Social Studies.

• held "one minute meetings" with our new school counselor, Ms. McHugh

Notes:

• Tomorrow, all 4th grade students will take the STAR 360 Reading Assessment at 10:30. You do not need to study for this test. Teachers will use the results to help your child.

• Please send your child with a mask each day. Masks are mandatory for 201.

• Please send in a reusable tote bag that can stay at school. This makes bringing materials between our two classrooms so much easier!
