Making it Great Monday

Do you see the gourds? We are hoping to have enough gourds for Friday's Gourd Decorating event.

Today we...

• practiced our Reader's Theater. We worked on paying close attention to punctuation. Our "lines" should show understanding our character's motivation and feelings. We are working on speaking slowly and projecting our voices. Many groups are doing a great job with staging. Thursday's performance is peer to peer. Parents, we promise to invite you to an event soon!

• began a "reading detective" project. We are trying to solve a mystery!

• revisited the Illinois project. WE will talk about options for this project. I will update the Google Classroom assignment with some samples soon.
