Today's image is inspired by the "Recipe for Friendship" project that we began today. We also...

• began our reading rotations. I am working with small groups to help kids learn about literary devices and imagery. We are talking about how authors use words and comparisons to paint pictures. • watched Albena rock! She stole the show(idiom) last weekend, and we played a video of one of her songs for the whole class.

• went to the Library to check out books.
