Today we finished up an arts integrated project. Yesterday, we learned about Pablo Picasso. We observed how his style transformed, and how he moved from realistic painting to more abstract. Pablo Picasso's innovated style was named Cubism. 201 & 202 students created their own cubist art. Today, students wrote a descriptive paragraph about their work. They wrote about the art's topic, the colors, the mood and their inspiration. We wrote these paragraphs using the 3rd person point of view. They are fabulous!

This weekend, please check the "homework document." There are a few assignments that may be past due, and Monday is the "last call."

The weekly "parent report" on Google Classroom is NOT the best way to check your child's work. Instead, log on to their Google Classroom account. Ask them to SHOW you the directions and the work. Most 4th graders still need support with this. Your kids will grow a lot this year. Right now, they need frequent check-ins. This is normal!

Have a great weekend!
